Biography:

Since 2007, I have used the internet and social media as tools to inform, educate, and mobilize people around animal rights and veganism. I am the founder of the Vista-se portal, one of the largest vegan platforms in Latin America, where I produce accessible and impactful content with the aim of questioning animal exploitation and promoting a more ethical lifestyle.

My work lies at the intersection of journalism, activism, and digital communication. Over the years, I have built a solid relationship with the public and private sectors, making me a reliable source of information for the animal rights movement. NGOs and companies frequently approach me to help disseminate relevant news, campaigns, and developments within the movement, recognizing my role as a bridge between different actors.

At the same time, I actively hold companies, artists, and public figures accountable for unethical behavior towards animals, using my platforms to raise awareness of these issues and often disseminating important news in this area. This combination of influence, credibility, and critical voice has positioned me as a key communicator within the Brazilian animal rights movement.

In addition to my digital work, I am also a speaker, having participated in events such as TEDx and various conferences focused on veganism and sustainability, and I am the author of the book "No animal deserves to be considered an ingredient".

In 2007, I founded Vista-se – the largest vegan portal in Latin America – which has been online and active daily ever since.

In 2012, he received a plaque of honor from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in recognition of his work promoting veganism.

In 2013, he was invited to speak about veganism and animal rights at the Chamber of Deputies in Brasília. The invitation was made by the Parliamentary Front for the Defense of Animals in the National Congress (FPDA).

Also in 2013, he was featured in major newspapers in the nationally significant historical case known as the Beagles of the Royal Institute.

Also in 2013, he diplomatically persuaded the Iguatemi Shopping Mall in São Paulo to stop giving away real rabbits as Easter gifts.

In 2015, he was summoned to testify before the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into Animal Abuse regarding a company that exploited dromedaries for transporting tourists in Rio Grande do Norte.

Still in 2015, he was one of the key activists in the case known nationally as the "Rodoanel Pigs." He helped publicize the case so that the Terra dos Bichos sanctuary could obtain the necessary resources to receive the animals that survived the accident.

Between 2014 and 2016, he was a columnist for the Record TV news portal, R7. During that period, he disseminated numerous texts in favor of animals to millions of people.

In 2017, he published the book "No Animal Deserves to Be Considered an Ingredient," with chronicles and reflections on the relationship between humans and other animal species.

In 2018, he personally participated in the Rancho dos Gnomos team that rescued Rowena the bear, who was being exploited in a zoo in Teresina, Piauí.

Also in 2018, he was a speaker at the first TEDxCampinas, an internationally recognized event for spreading good ideas.

In 2019, in work similar to the previous year, he was present at the transfer of the bears Verrú and Mizar, also brought from the Northeast to a peaceful life in a sanctuary in the interior of São Paulo.

Also in 2019, he was at the home of presenter Xuxa for an exclusive interview.

In 2022, he met in person with Lula, Gleisi Hoffmann, Fernando Haddad, and animal rights NGOs to advocate for the inclusion of animal rights issues in the government plan.

Also in 2022, he launched the Fabio.Live program, a podcast on YouTube and Spotify.

Also in 2022, he received the Diploma of Ecological Merit, awarded by his hometown, Vinhedo-SP.

Also in 2022, he began participating in the Animal Mandate as a candidate for co-deputy, a collective candidacy for a seat in the Federal Chamber of Deputies, with Mônica Buava as spokesperson.

Also in 2022, his podcast featured a live appearance by presenter Xuxa, something very rare.

In 2023, he gave a talk on the main stage of Campus Party about the future of food alongside Derrick Green (Sepultura) and Tanya O'Callaghan (Whitesnake).

In 2025, he received the Papagaio Award in the Vegan Influencer category during a ceremony at the Teatro Gazeta in São Paulo.

Also in 2025, Fabio had his most viewed video in history: 6.1 million views on TikTok alone, in a single video: watch it here. It's one of the biggest reaches of a video made by a vegan activist.

In 2026, he participated in the first National Animal Week in Brasília, organized by the Federal Government. On that occasion, he also attended a closed-door meeting with 20 animal rights organizations with Gleisi Hoffmann, Minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations.

Also in 2026, he began his undergraduate studies in nutrition.

He has given lectures on animal rights at institutions such as USP, UNICAMP, UNESP, the National Congress, and others.
